Went to the new Disney mega-complex on Tuesday. Was amazed at the consistancy of the Disney brand and the typography of their new signs. Disney's California Adventure, I was surprised to find, is all done in Arts & Crafts style. I hate it when things I like become popular/coopted by The Man (Michael Eisner in this case).

Went to Tom and Annet's bungalow for dinner last night. It's strange how you can be close to people you only see once a year. But then, thinking on it, most of my close friends I only see a few times a year. Distance and being the parent of a toddler make more frequent meetings impossible. Ah well.
